911 Saves Lives

Chris is only five years old, but he is a hero. He saved his dad’s life. Here is the story.

Dad was lying on the couch. Chris wanted his dad to play with him. He shook Dad. He talked to Dad. Dad would not wake up.

Mom was at work. Chris was alone. He became afraid. He called 911. Chris said, “My dad will not wake up. I need help.” The officer said, “I will send help. Please talk to me until they come.”

The rescue team came for Dad. They saw that he was very sick. They took him to the hospital. Dad stayed there for a week. Then he went home.

Dad is feeling better. He gives Chris a hug. He thanks Chris for calling 911.
